The temple was founded by Mr. Praveen Sirukandath, whose heart carried a profound dream from his early years — to build a temple. But it was not to be an ordinary temple; it was to be a spiritual powerhouse, a place that radiates divine energy and showers the Lord’s infinite grace upon all. His days were spent in pursuit of this vision, constantly seeking divine guidance and inspiration.
The Guru’s Divine Grace
This dream took many forms over the years, but the true essence and structure of this temple were revealed through the boundless compassion of Sai Guru Nathar. It was He who blessed Mr. Praveen with the divine inspiration to understand the temple’s purpose, design, and spiritual significance. The creation of this temple is not merely the outcome of human effort — it is a divine mission, shaped and sanctified by the Guru’s blessings.
A Sacred Beginning
With the incomparable grace of our beloved Sai Nath, the foundation of this sacred temple was laid on an auspicious day in April 1917. The construction was not just a physical endeavor but a spiritual journey — every stone embedded with devotion and divine faith. Under the guidance of Mr. Praveen Sirukandath, the work continued tirelessly, culminating in the Kumbabhishekam (consecration ceremony) of Sri Sai Dattatreya Meditation Peedam on June 23 and 24, 1918.
Service and Dedication
The temple is lovingly managed by Mrs. Dhakshayani Praveen, wife of Mr. Praveen Sirukandath. Her devotion and commitment ensure that devotees experience uninterrupted darshan (divine viewing) of the deities and receive the Lord’s blessings with heartfelt satisfaction.
